Three Nigerian Defenders Feature As Arsenal Lose To Chelsea In U18 Premier League

Arsenal U18s unbeaten start to the season came to an end following their 4-2 loss to Chelsea at Cobham Training Centre in the U18 Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Fullback Tolaji Bola and central defender Joseph Olowu started for the Gunners while Tobi Omole and goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo were named on the bench.
Chelsea created chances in the opening ten minutes, scoring two goals through Taylor-Crossdale before Osei-Tutu reduced the deficit in the 40th minute.
In the second half, St Clair and Taylor-Crossdale hit target in the 50th and 72nd minute respectively before a fine individual goal by Benson reduced the gloss on the scoreline.
Olowu lasted the distance, Omole replaced Bola in the 69th minute while Okonkwo and Chelsea number 14 Tariq Uwakwe remained on the bench.
