Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria helped Liverpool U23s secure a 3-0 win over Sunderland at Prenton Park (Birkenhead, Merseyside) in Premier League 2 on Sunday afternoon. <br /><br />The central midfielder had trained with the Reds first team last week, fueling speculation that he might make his debut in the English top-flight against Hull City yesterday but it did not happen. <br /><br />Ejaria was in the starting line-up in today&rsquo;s game alongside Portugal youth-teamer Tiago Ilori and Sunderland duo Josh Maja and Joel Asoro. <br /><br />Liverpool U23s registered their fourth win of the campaign thanks to goals from Daniel Ings (2) and Alexander-Arnold.<br /><br />Ejaria, Ilori, Maja and Asoro were substituted in the second half. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com <br /><br />
