Cameroon Expose Nigeria U17s First Opponents, Brazil, Ahead Of Independence Day Clash

Nigeria’s first opponents at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World, Brazil, lost their last friendly match before the meeting against the African powerhouse at the King Abdullah Stadium, Amman on October 1.

Lionesses U17 beat the South Americans 2-0 on Sunday, September 25, thanks to a second half brace from Flora Kameni.

Having thrashed hosts Jordan 7-0 last week, Brazil exhibited defensive frailties and lack of physicality against Cameroon.

The Bala Nikyu - led side will tackle Brazil, England and North Korea in the group stage of the competition.
