Ighalo, Success Feature As Watford Are Overpowered By Burnley
Published: September 26, 2016
Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success were in action for Watford in their 2-0 loss to Burnley in the Premier League on Monday night.
Two headers either side of half time by Hendrick and Keane saw the Hornets lose their unbeaten away record this term.
Ighalo had a chance to equalize just before the intermission but his flicked header from Pereyra’s cross was saved by goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
On 82 minutes, Success, who was introduced in the 58th minute, saw his low shot deflected inches wide, and his first time shot in the fourth minute of injury time went over the bar.
Ighalo made his sixth consecutive start for the Vicarage Road side and played the full game at Turf Moor, while the former Golden Eaglets star appeared off the bench for the fourth time in the top-flight.
