Alex Iwobi was pleased after Arsenal registered their first win in the Champions League on Wednesday night and hailed his teammates for their performance.
The Nigeria international retained his place in the starting line-up against Basel and had a good chance to put the London team 3-0 up in the 58th minute when he drove forward but his effort went inches wide.
“Great Win & Team Performance , Onto The Next â½ï¸ðªð½ #AFC #3Points #BIG17,” tweeted Alex Iwobi.
On his fourth appearance in the Champions League, Iwobi was on the Emirates turf for 70 minutes before he was replaced by Basel old boy Elneny.
