Ex-Flying Eagles Invitee Ladapo Scores First Goal For Oldham AthleticFormer Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo registered his name on the scorecard as Oldham Athletic came from behind to beat Gillingham 2-1 in League One on Saturday afternoon.

The Crystal Palace loanee drew the visitors level in the 65th minute, three minutes after entered into the fray, firing the ball past the goalkeeper after holding off his man.

Ladapo was delirious after netting his first goal for the Latics and was booked by referee Kevin Johnson for celebrating with the Oldham Athletic supporters.

On 72 minutes, the striker had a chance to put his team in front but the goalkeeper managed to pull off a save with his legs.

Gillingham defender Adedji Oshilaja started and played the full game and his teammate Emmanuel Osadebe subbed in with 24 minutes remaining.
