Musa Rules Out CSKA Moscow Return; Cautions Nigerian Journalists To Stop Inventing News
Published: October 17, 2016
Ahmed Musa is not pleased with reports in the local media that suggested that he will return to former club CSKA Moscow in the event that his transfer to Leicester City does not work in his favour.
Allnigeriasoccer.com subtly revealed earlier today that Musa’s return to the Russian capital is not feasible for the simple reason that CSKA Moscow cannot meet the asking price for the Super Eagles star.
“I have not read this, but I’ve heard. Return? It is not true, they write crazy things about me,” Ahmed Musa told Russian newspaper Sport Express.
“I do not get angry at the journalists, but sometimes they invent news. Now I’m totally focused on the job.”
The 24-year-old Musa has played nine matches in total for the Foxes across all competitions, accumulating 359 minutes of game time in the process.
