Nigerian Messi & Adeyemo On The Mark For Watford U23 In Eight-Goal Thriller
Watford U23s scored three goals but still lost an eight-goal thriller against Coventry City in the Professional Development League on Monday afternoon, October 17.<br /><br />Former Nigeria U23 target Ola Adeyemo gave the Hornets a glimmer of hope when he reduced the deficit in the 38th minute, scrabbling home an effort after a lightning break, before he was replaced at half-time.<br /><br />On 78 minutes, Ogo Obi, dubbed the Nigerian Messi, was on the mark for Watford, bundling home off an assist by Michael Folivi, to bring the scoreline to 5-2.<br /><br />Devon Kelly-Evans, Jack Finch, Callum Maycock, Kyle Spence and Jack McBean were on target for the Sky Blues, who have now won six games on the bounce. <br /><br />Watford return to action next Monday when they face Colchester United.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : watfordfc.com<br /><br />
