Nigerian wonderkids Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and Dele Alli have missed out on the prestigious European Golden Boy award. <br /><br />Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches won the accolade ahead of the Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur rising stars. <br /><br />Since the award was established by TuttoSport in 2003, no player of Nigerian descent has managed to win the award of Europe<span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>s best player under the age of 21.<br /><br />Sanches will be presented with the award at the <span style="" class="notranslate">Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo on Monday as part of the </span><span style="" class="notranslate">2016 European Sport TV Awards. <br /><br />The award is voted for by 30 top sports journalists across Europe, including foreign football experts from L</span><span style="" class="notranslate"><span class="body1">&rsquo;</span>&eacute;quipe, France Football, A Bola, </span><span style="" class="notranslate"><span style="" class="notranslate">De Telegraaf, Sport-Express,</span> </span><span style="" class="notranslate">Aftonbladet,</span><span style="" class="notranslate"><span style="" class="notranslate"> Tuttosport, La Gazzetta dello Sport</span> and Sports Day. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : mancity.com<br /></span><br /><br /><br />
