Ike Ugbo Continues To Catch The Eyes Of Many At Chelsea With Another Goal
Published: October 25, 2016
Monday’s game between Chelsea and Derby County in Premier League 2 ended with both teams sharing the spoils.
Two England youth-teamers who remain eligible to play for Nigeria, Fikayo Tomori and Ike Ugbo, started and completed the game for the Blues, with the striker registering his name on the score sheet in the 62nd minute.
Ugbo thought he had netted the game-winner when he fired home after he was teed up by Dasilva, only for the visitors to get back on level terms two minutes after his goal.
The 18-year-old, who was a member of England’s U17 squad at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup, has bagged six goals in all competitions for the youth teams of the Blues this season.
Born in London, Ugbo has represented Chelsea since he was ten.
