Liverpool Next Big Hope Ejaria Admits He Was Shocked To Be Shown The Exit Door By Arsenal
Published: October 27, 2016
Nigerian midfielder Ovie Ejaria has talked about his feelings after he was released by Arsenal in the summer of 2014 after spending nine years at the Emirates outfit.
The Londoner was not lacking suitors after he was discarded by the Gunners, with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea approaching him to play for their academy team but chose to join Liverpool instead.
“It was tough. And it came as a bit of a shock, to be honest, ” Ejaria said to Liverpool Echo.
“But I was fortunate enough to have offers from a number of clubs at different levels, some others in the London area and some up north too.
“I chose Liverpool and I’m pleased that I did.”
