Iwobi Impresses As Alexis Joins Arsenal 50-Goal Club In Win Vs Sunderland

Arsenal picked up their seventh win of the Premier League season after thrashing Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
On his 21st appearance in the English top-flight, Nigeria international Alex Iwobi made way for Frenchman Olivier Giroud in the 69th minute.
The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when Alexis Sanchez scored with a sensational header via a cross from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with the Chile star capping off a move involving all the Gunners outfield players minus Iwobi.
On 27 minutes, the ball fell to Iwobi and he carved out a shot which went over the bar.
Parity was restored in the 65th minute when Jermain Defoe did not have problems converting a spot kick after Cech fouled Watmore .
A lovely finish from Giroud with his first touch of the ball six minutes later restored Arsenal’s lead before he grabbed his brace with fourteen minutes remaining.
Alexis scored his 50th goal in an Arsenal shirt after 78 minutes to add more gloss to the scoreline.
