Premier League Wrap: Brave Musa Scores Again; Iheanacho, Anichebe, Onomah Benched; Ighalo Logs 90 Minutes; Ibe, Dele Subbed Out

Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent on game week ten in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
At the Riverside Stadium, it finished 2-0 in favour of Middlesbrough in their game against Bournemouth. England U21 international Jordon Ibe subbed out on the hour mark for the visitors.
Tottenham Hotspur were held to a 1-1 draw by Ahmed Musa’s Leicester City, with the Nigeria international netting for the second consecutive game in the Premier League.
Three minutes out of intermission, Musa showed his bravery, taking a challenge from Walker before slotting the ball home. He was later booked in the 63rd minute for fouling Spurs midfielder Dele Alli.
Josh Onomah was a non-playing sub, while Musa and Dele were substituted in the 68th and 83rd minute respectively.
Over to the The Hawthorns , Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 4-0 hammering of Hal Robson-Kanu’s West Brom. The Wales international played the last three minutes for the Baggies.
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho remained on the bench for the entirety of the contest, while teammate Tosin Adarabioyo did not make the squad.
Odion Ighalo started and played the full game as Watford beat Moses Odubajo’s Hull City 1-0. The former England youth-teamer and Isaac Success were not on parade at the Vic due to injury.
Sheyi Ojo, Ovie Ejaria and Tiago Ilori have not been listed for Liverpool’s game at Crystal Palace in the evening kickoff.
In the early kickoff, Arsenal thrashed Sunderland 4-1 . Alex Iwobi started and was in action for 69 minutes, Chuba Akpom is injured and was not considered for selection.
Black Cats duo Josh Maja and Joel Asoro played for the U23 squad on Friday and didn’t make the squad. Victor Anichebe watched proceedings from the bench.
