Transformed Victor Moses Shines As Chelsea Batter Everton
Published: November 05, 2016
Chelsea have moved to the top of the Premier League following their 5-0 battering of Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
The Blues put up probably their best first half performance in the Premier League so far, netting through Eden Hazard, Marcos Alonso and Diego Costa and went into the interval 3-0 up.
On 56 minutes, Eden Hazard bagged his brace, dribbling past his opponents before finding the net after Pedro Rodriguez directed the ball behind the defence, then the Spaniard tapped the ball in in the 65th minute to add more gloss to the scoreline.
Victor Moses continues to impress at right wing-back and had his best chance of the game to net his third goal in the league when his shot hit the post in the 34th minute, before a long range shot by the Nigeria international was saved by goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in the closing minutes.
Chelsea, who have garnered 25 points from 11 matches, travel to Middlesbrough after the international break.
