The Real Reason Chelsea Star Moses Skips Super Eagles Games : Complains Players Are Involved In Juju
Published: November 21, 2016
Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses has complained some of his Super Eagles teammates are involved in fetish practices, which is his main reason for skipping some national team games as he is not comfortable fraternizing with these players.
Only last month, the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man pulled out of the World Cup qualifying match with Zambia citing injury, and had missed Sunday Oliseh’s first game in charge of the national team, versus Tanzania, before pulling out of the squad that faced Mali and Luxembourg in the summer.
Out of a possible 20 matches after the 2014 World Cup, Moses has taken part in only 4, or bringing those stats to life he has played only twenty percent of international games during the period under review.
“Some Super Eagles players are fetish as everyone is aware. They believe it well help them improve their game, ” a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Victor Moses is not comfortable being around these players. He has spent most of his life in the UK and now has a different orientation.
“The religious Super Eagles players invite pastors to pray for them to guard against any spiritual attack whenever they are in the national team but Moses is not interested in doing that.”
Victor Moses was born and raised in Benin City before moving to the United Kingdom in 2001 in search of the proverbial Golden Fleece.
