Published: December 04, 2016
Liverpool blew their chance to move to second position in the Premier League standings after losing to Bournemouth in a seven-goal thriller at Dean Court on Sunday afternoon.
England U21 international Jordon Ibe came off the bench at the start of the second half in his first competitive match against his former club, while Young Lions midfielder Ovie Ejaria remained on the substitutes bench for the entirety of the game.
The Cherries never led in the match but managed to equalize in the 79th minute through Steve Cook.
With time winding down, Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake netted the winner when he tapped in from close range after goalkeeper Loris Karius initially blocked his effort.
On 20 minutes, Sadio Mane had opened scoring for The Reds and Divock Origi doubled that lead two minutes later.
Nine minutes after half-time, Callum Wilson cut the lead to 2-1 before Emre Can restored the two-goal advantage in the 64th minute.
But Liverpool led their lead slip again, substitute Fraser smashed the ball low into the bottom right with 14 minutes remaining.
