Arsenal Striker Oshoala, Two Nigeria Stars Named In AWCON Team Of The Tournament

Arsenal Ladies striker Asisat Oshoala is one of three Nigerian players included in the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament, but Swedish-based midfielder Ngozi Okobi who sparkled in Cameroon has been overlooked.
Oshoala is joined in the ceremonial Best Eleven by Rivers Angels defender Osinachi Ohale and Guingamp ace Desire Oparanozie, who scored in each of her last three games in the tourney.
In a 4-4-2 formation, the Nigeria number 8 led the frontline alongside second highest scorer Oparanozie.
Super Falcons netminder Jonathan Alaba and Washington Spirit striker Francisca Ordega are among the six players on the substitutes bench.
Oshoala scored six goals to win the Golden Boot award while Gabrielle Onguene of Cameroon was named Best Player.
