Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the 15th round of matches in the English Premier League on Sunday, December 11.

We start off at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea entertained West Brom. It finished 1-0 in favour of Antonio Conte’s team. Super Eagles winger Victor Moses started his ninth consecutive game for the Londoners and was replaced in the 74th minute.

For the umpteenth time, Nigeria skipper John Obi Mikel was not considered in the Blues 18-man squad and England youth-teamer Ola Aina returned to the bench. West Brom number four Hal Robson-Kanu played the last six minutes.

Three Lions midfielder Dele Alli put in a full shift in midfield as Tottenham Hotspur lost for only the second time this season. It ended 1-0 at Old Trafford. Josh Onomah was not officially in the traveling party to Manchester.

Olufela Olomola wasn’t involved for Southampton in their 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at St. Mary’s Stadium. He was in action for the U23s in Premier League 2 on Friday.

Finally, Angelo Ogbonna assisted West Ham to register an impressive 2-2 draw at Liverpool. The Italy international started and completed the game at Anfield.

England U20 international Ovie Ejaria continues with his remarkable progress, making the Reds 18-man squad for a competitive fixture for the eighth time this season. Sheyi Ojo and Tiago Ilori play for the U23s for the time being.
