The Nigeria international was in City starting XI that were humiliated 4-2 by champions Leicester City this past weekend, and believes beating the Hornets will boost their confidence and send a message to their rivals for the title.
“We lost but we are still in a good position and anything can happen. We have to keep our concentration going and win our games, ” Iheanacho told mancity.com.
“The Watford game is a game we need to win and come out strongly. We have to prove to everybody that although we lost we are strong mentally.
“We have to focus on this game and make sure we get the result that we need.”
Three Nigerian strikers Odion Ighalo, Isaac Success and Stefano Okaka are in line to feature for Watford tonight.
