Tottenham Hotspur Working On Deal To Sign Ross Barkley
Published: December 15, 2016
England midfielder of Nigerian ancestry Ross Barkley is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur with a view to a transfer next summer.
According to the Telegraph, Spurs are planning a swoop for the attacking midfielder in the event that he doesn’t extend his contract with Everton.
Barkley, 23, has not really impressed coach Ronald Koeman, and the Dutchman left him on the bench in important matches against Manchester City and Manchester United in the Premier League.
Liverpool-born Barkley has 18 months left on his current contract with Everton.
He has spent the last eleven years of his career with the Goodison Park outfit, though he enjoyed loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United.
