Published: December 23, 2016
L’Equipe is reporting that Marseille face serious competition for the Chelsea midfielder, with the two Milan clubs and Shanghai SIPG also monitoring his situation.
Mikel’s intermediary John Shittu recently confirmed that his client is on the wishlist of clubs based in England, Italy, Germany, Spain and China, adding that he will join a new club for sporting not financial reasons.
The Nigeria captain has fallen out of favour with Chelsea coach Antonio Conte since he returned from the 2016 Olympic Games.
