Italian club AC Milan will rival Inter Milan for the signature of John Obi Mikel in the January transfer window.<br /><br />L&rsquo;Equipe is reporting that Marseille face serious competition for the Chelsea midfielder, with the two Milan clubs and Shanghai SIPG also monitoring his situation.<br /><br />Mikel&rsquo;s intermediary John Shittu recently confirmed that his client is on the wishlist of clubs based in England, Italy, Germany, Spain and China, adding that he will join a new club for sporting not financial reasons.<br /><br />The Nigeria captain has fallen out of favour with Chelsea coach Antonio Conte since he returned from the 2016 Olympic Games.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : chelseafc.com
