Tottenham Hotspur Boss : Important For Dele To Score Goals
Published: December 29, 2016
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino was delighted that the English-born Nigerian midfielder Dele Alli bagged a brace in his side’s 4-1 rout of Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Three Lions star equalized for Spurs in the 19th minute before he grabbed his second of the game after slotting past Forster with three minutes left on the clock.
“Yes, important for him, Harry as well and Son, a great impact from the bench, ” Pochettino told Spurs official website.
“There are a lot of positives, not only the three points but we feel very pleased with the performance.”
Dele’s brace took his Tottenham Hotspur tally to 6 goals from 17 Premier League appearances, and he needs to score four more to match his goal haul for last season.
