Iwobi Challenges Alexis, Ozil & Oxlade-Chamberlain For Arsenal Player Of The Month

Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi is in the running for Arsenal’s Vitality Player of the Month for December.
During the period under review, the attacking midfielder was involved in every single game contested by the Gunners, six in total, and scored two goals.
The 20-year-old Iwobi opened his account for the season against Basel in the Champions League on December 6, before finding the net against Stoke City in the Premier League four days later.
To win the award, the former England youth-teamer is up against some stiff competition, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott listed among the favourites by the official website of Arsenal.
Arsenal’s Player of the Month will be announced at the end of voting on Tuesday, January 10.
