Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria has explained why he had to sign for Liverpool in the summer of 2014, and passed up the chance to sign a scholarship with Arsenal.<br /><br />The central midfielder had been approached by several Premier League clubs not limited to Chelsea and Manchester City but chose the Reds after he was given a tour of their training facilities.<br /><br />&ldquo;I was offered a scholarship at Arsenal and I chose to turn it down,&rdquo; Ejaria told Liverpoolfc.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;I had opportunities to go to different clubs. I had a look at Liverpool and it was the only club I went to, because I enjoyed it a lot.&rdquo;<br /><br />After impressing during pre-season, Ejaria made his senior debut against Derby County in the League Cup and has played four more games for the first team this term. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com<br />
