Arsenal Fans Decide : Iwobi Better Than Alexis, Ramsey & Cech
Published: January 15, 2017Alex Iwobi was named Man of the Match by the official website of Arsenal in the wake of their 4-0 rout of Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Nigeria international has not yet been credited with any goal, but he forced two Swansea City players to score own goals in the tie at the Liberty Stadium.
Of the 45,759 votes cast, Iwobi claimed 65 percent , beating Chile star Alexis Sanchez who received 26 percent.
Wales international Aaron Ramsey was in third spot with 5 percent followed by goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Iwobi, the current African Youth Player of the Year, lasted the distance against the Swans.
