CIES Football Observatory research team has published a list of the 100 most expensive players in the world.<br /><br />English-born Nigerian midfielder Dele Alli was included on the list, and ranked ninth with a transfer fee of &euro;110.5 million. <br /><br />The player with the highest market value is Barcelona striker Neymar (&euro;246.8 million), followed by teammate Lionel Messi (&euro;170.5 million) and Manchester United<span class="body1"></span><span class="body1">&rsquo;s</span> Paul Pogba (&euro;155.3 million).<br /><br />Tottenham Hotspur star Alli is the most expensive attacking midfielder in the world, Jan Oblak is the most expensive goalkeeper while Rapha&euml;l Varane and H&eacute;ctor Beller&iacute;n are the most expensive central defender and fullback respectively. <br /><br />Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is placed at number 55 with a market value of 50.5 million euros.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com<br />
