Chelsea Left Wing Back Admits Victor Moses Is More Offensive
Published: January 21, 2017
Chelsea left back Marcos Alonso has admitted that Victor Moses has been more involved than him in the team’s attack in most games they have played together this season.
The Nigeria international had found the net on four occasions prior to the Blues 3-0 win at Leicester City last weekend whereas the Spaniard managed one goal.
However, Alonso equaled Moses’s tally in the Premier League after netting a brace for the first time in his career in the win over the Foxes.
“A lot of games he goes more forward and I maybe stay more at the back, but that also depends on how the other team plays and it’s good to have variation and different options, ” Alonso told Chelsea’s official website.
“Victor is doing a great job and hopefully we can keep helping the team as we have been doing in the previous games.”
Moses, 26, has started the last fifteen games contested by Chelsea and helped the EPL pacesetters record 14 wins in the process.
