Man City Have No Plans To Loan Out Iheanacho Despite Arrival Of Brazil Wonderkid Jesus
Published: January 22, 2017
Kelechi Iheanacho’s father has reiterated that Africa’s Most Promising Talent will not be farmed out on loan before the transfer window closes for business.
The Citizens number 72 was left of the squad that were held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, and there are suggestions that the arrival of Brazil wonderkid Gabriel Jesus will see him fall down the pecking order of strikers.
But James Iheanacho said there is no information from Man City chiefs that Iheanacho has been declared surplus to requirements.
“Automatically Kelechi is not going on loan because his name is not among the players leaving, ” James Iheanacho told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It is only yesterday he did not play (or make the bench). ”
Saturday’s tie against Spurs was the first time this season that Iheanacho did not make Man City’s match day squad for a Premier League game.
