(Photo Confirmation) Exclusive: John Chibuike Pens Two-And-A-Half Year Hapoel Tel Aviv Deal
Published: January 26, 2017
Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Tel Aviv have hijacked Hapoel Haifa’s deal to sign former Rosenborg sensation John Chibuike.
Hapoel Tel Aviv have pulled off a transfer coup after luring the attacking midfielder to the Reds, and he has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal that will run out at the end of the 2018-2019 season, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
A possible move to Samsunspor (Turkey) had been on the cards before Chibuike committed his future to the 14-time Israeli champions.
The deal that took the 28-year-old to Hapoel Tel Aviv was brokered by Hasan Egilmez in collaboration with Shlomy Ben Ezra and Marco Salvatore.
Former Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama, Nosa Igiebor and Harmony Ikande have represented Hapoel Tel Aviv in the past.
