Henty Ezekiel extended his goal drought after firing blanks in Baniyas’s 4-2 loss to visitors Al Shabab in the latest games played in the Arabian Gulf League.

The Lokomotiv Moscow loanee has very unusual statistics for a striker, with only one goal scored in the last twelve months.

On his debut for Baniyas, he was kept at bay by Dibba Al Fujairah despite spending ninety minutes on the pitch, and struggled again today in the full shift against Al Shabab.

In truth, Henty Ezekiel never had an impressive goalscoring record since he moved abroad five years ago, with his best return in front of goal to date coming in the 2015-2016 when he netted 8 goals in 21 games.

Lokomotiv Moscow will decide the future of the 23-year-old at the end of this season.
