Eight Very Talented Nigerian Youngsters Make Arsenal Roster For Premier League
Published: February 03, 2017
London-based club Arsenal have lodged their squad list with the Premier League.
Eight players of Nigerian descent have been registered by the Emirates outfit for the second half of the 2016-2017 campaign.
The eight players are very talented youngsters and were all registered as U21 players, including Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi, fellow Hale End Academy product Chuba Akpom, Tolaji Bola, Aaron Eyoma, Kelechi Nwakali, Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole and Nathan Tella.
It should be noted that manager Arsene Wenger cannot select three of these players Nwakali, Akpom and Eyoma because they have been farmed out on loan.
Of the aforementioned players, only Iwobi and Akpom have first-team experience under their belt.
