Flying Eagles Star Battling To Be Fit For Biggest Game Of Career Vs AC Milan
Published: February 07, 2017
Bologna striker Orji Okonkwo is in a race against time to be fit for Wednesday evening’s Serie A clash against AC Milan.
Ahead of that fixture at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, the Nigeria U20 international did not participate in full training on Monday, and was involved in an individual session instead.
Okonwko has not tasted action for the first team of The Red and Blues in the Italian top-flight since December 18 when he lasted six minutes on the turf versus Pescara.
The Football College Abuja product has six appearances under his belt in all competitions.
He has been prolific for the Primavera team, with 5 goals scored from 8 appearances.
