Promising Nigerian Striker Delighted To Score On Botosani Debut

Benjamin Kuku was delighted to score on his competitive debut for Boto�ani in their 1-0 win over CS U Craiova in the Romanian Liga 1 on Saturday.
The young attacker penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Boto�ani during the January transfer window, and has not wasted time to start the delivering the goods after scoring in the 87th minute in front of his own fans at Stadionul Municipal.
“Firstly, I am very grateful to God for a very good start. I was fully prepared and ready because I know we are playing against a very good side, ” Kuku told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We dominated the game. I played very well, the goal came in the 87th minute. I am very happy that I could help my team score the winner.”
The 21-year-old Kuku represented Romanian clubs Academica Clinceni and Târgu MureÅ� before his shift to BotoÅ�ani.
