Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus has admitted that he is a fan of Arsenal attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi, ahead of the Champions League meeting between the German champions and the London team on Wednesday.<br /><br />It is interesting to note that the Nigeria international made his Champions League bow versus Bayern last season, coming off the bench for the final six minutes of the 5-1 loss in Munich.<br /><br />&ldquo;You only have to look at Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud to see that, while I also like Alex Iwobi, &rdquo; Matthaus told The Sun.<br /><br />&ldquo;I like watching them offensively but they are so suspect defensively, despite Shkodran Mustafi, who is a very solid and important player.&rdquo;<br /><br />Iwobi has been involved in all the matches contested by the Gunners in the Champions League this term.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : arsenal.com <br />
