CSKA Moscow Striker Samuel Not Injured, Substituted As A Precaution
Published: February 20, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Aaron Samuel was substituted as a precaution in CSKA Moscow 3-1 win over his former club Sarpsborg 08 in a friendly on Sunday evening.
The Super Eagles striker spent only 11 minutes on the pitch against the Norwegian opponents before he was replaced.
It has come to light that Samuel is not injured and only felt stiff behind his thigh, so he decided not to risk anything.
The former Guangzhou R&F star has declared himself fit for the Army Men’s next friendly in Campoamor against Ufa.
Samuel, 22, has been involved in test games against Cartagena, LASK, Esbierg and Sarpsborg 08 since he was re-signed by CSKA Moscow in the January transfer window.
