Bristol City Waiting For Chelsea To Give The Green Light To Play Tammy Abraham
Published: March 07, 2017
Tammy Abraham is doubtful to feature for Bristol City when they tackle Norwich City in a Championship encounter at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.
The Chelsea loanee has not played for the Robins since sustaining a thigh injury in a league match against Leeds United last month.
Providing an update on the fitness of the England U21 international, manager Lee Johnson said to Bristol City Player HD : “I’ll be speaking to Chelsea later on today (Monday) to get the latest on Tammy. As things stand, it is looking unlikely for tomorrow.
“I would say it is 60/40 against him being back with us. But if there is any chance at all that he can come back and be on the bench for us, then we will do that.”
Abraham, 19, has netted 21 goals in all competitions for Bristol City this term.
