Watford Earn Draw Thanks To Wonder-Goal From Prolific Nigerian Star
Published: March 13, 2017
Watford Ladies came from behind to secure a valuable point in their FA WSL 2 match against Durham Women at
Kings Langley FC on Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Girls had lost their first two games in the league to Aston Villa and London Bees before the prolific Nigerian striker Rinsola Babajide scored in the 57th minute
After coming close to breaking the deadlock on the half-hour mark, the England U19 star lobbed a spectacular effort over goalkeeper Laws from thirty yards to cancel out Roberts’s opener.
There is no doubt that Babajide is on fire at the moment, with the strike against Durham Women her second goal in as many games for Watford Ladies.
The former Millwall Lionesses sensation also scored while on England duty earlier this month.
