Published: March 13, 2017
England U20 international of Nigerian heritage Josh Onomah was among the scorers as Tottenham Hotspur claimed a 4-0 win over Reading U23s in Premier League 2 on Monday night.
Only yesterday, Sunday, the attacking midfielder watched proceedings from the bench as Spurs hammered Millwall 6-0 in the Emirates FA Cup, and was brought into the U23 squad due to his lack of opportunities with the first team.
On 31 minutes, he doubled Spurs’ advantage when he planted a low shot past Southwood, before Brown made it 3-0 after he was set up by Onomah.
Early in the first half, Loft had opened the scoring and Tracey got the last goal nine minutes after the restart.
The 19-year-old Onomah logged ninety minutes, while Reading youngster Gabriel Osho subbed out after 66 minutes.
