In the early kickoff, Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Hal Robson-Kanu’s West Brom. The Wales international gave the Baggies a crucial 2-1 lead in the 55th minute, a minute after his introduction.
Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is fully fit for the upcoming international friendlies. He tasted action for the last 12 minutes.
Over to Selhurst Park, Isaac Success played the last ten minutes of Watford’s 1-0 loss at Crystal Palace. Italy international Stefano Okaka was a non-playing substitute for the Hornets.
Ademola Lookman watched proceedings from the bench as Everton thrashed Moses Odubajo’s Hull City 4-0. England star Ross Barkley worked a full shift for the Toffees.
Victor Moses has been given a clean bill of health to report for Super Eagles duty next week. On his 50th Premier League appearance for Chelsea, the wing-back started and was in action for 70 minutes as his side registered a hard-fought 2-1 win at Stoke City.
England youth-teamers Dominic Solanke and Ola Aina were not in Chelsea’s squad to the Bet365 Stadium.
Over to the Stadium of Light, it ended goalless between Sunderland and Burnley. Black Cats trio Victor Anichebe (injury), Josh Maja and Joel Asoro were not involved.
