Echiejile Undergoing Personal Training, Awaiting Feedback Over Visa Application
Published: March 21, 2017
Sporting Gijon left back Elderson Echiejile is racing against the clock to arrive in London ahead of the national team’s international friendly fixtures, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The Monaco loanee is still awaiting positive feedback from the British Embassy regarding his application for a visa, but he is hoping to pick up the document before the end of Tuesday.
Before his trip to the capital of England, the defender is keeping fit and underwent an individual session at the gym on Monday, March 20.
Echiejile and Belgian-based Kingsley Madu are the out-and-out left backs named in the Super Eagles squad, but ADO Den Haag youngster Tyronne Ebuehi can play in that role though he is a typical right back.
Austria Vienna striker Olarenwaju Kayode has already arrived in London, goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa is on his way and Musa Mohammed will show up at the Crowne Plaza Hotel later today.
