The proposed friendly between Nigeria and Burkina Faso at the Hive Stadium in London is on the brink of being cancelled.
The President of the Burkinabé Football Federation, Sita Sangaré, stated that the invited players, officials and coaching staff encountered difficulties with their visa applications to the United Kingdom.
“On the whole delegation, only 8 players were able to obtain visas. I do not know to date if the match against Nigeria will take place, ” Sita Sangaré stated.
