English-Born Midfielder Of Nigerian Descent Might Depart Everton After 12 Years If.....
Published: April 10, 2017
Everton coach Ronald Koeman has said that the club will have no choice than to sell England midfielder of Nigerian descent Ross Barkley if he doesn't sign a new deal in the near future.
Barkley will enter the final twelve months of his contract in July, and the Toffees are prepared to cash in rather than see him leave for nothing at the end of next season.
"We offer him a new contract, and then (there are) two possibilities," Koeman said.
"One, he signs that contract, if he doesn't sign that contract then we need to sell the player. It's simple - it's not so difficult in my opinion."
Barkley has played nonstop at the Goodison Park park outfit for the past 12 years, having joined as an 11-year-old.
This season in the Premier League, the attacking midfielder has scored 4 goals and picked up 8 assists from 30 appearances.
