Chelsea Whizkid Abraham Professes His Love For Arsenal, Thierry Henry
Published: April 11, 2017
Chelsea wonderkid Tammy Abraham has professed his love for Arsenal, and has stated that he admired Thierry Henry
The England U21 international of Nigerian descent has caught the eye with his impressive performances for Bristol City in the Championship, but he is expected to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
''To be honest I was (an Arsenal fan). It didn't make any difference at Chelsea," Abraham said to Bristol Post.
"When you're young and you choose who to support, if it's a family thing, it's a family thing.
"Luckily for me it was a family thing so it wasn't really a problem. Someone I looked up to was Thierry Henry.''
Leicester City are one of the teams monitoring the situation of Abraham ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old was named in the latest Team of the Week announced by the EFL on Monday after surpassing the 20-goal milestone in Bristol City's 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
