Spurs Midfielder Of Nigerian Descent Wins PFA Young Player Of The Year AwardEngland international of Nigerian descent Dele Alli has won the Professional Footballers Association's (PFA) Young Player of the Year award for the second year in a row.

The Tottenham Hotspur wonderkid beat off competition from five other Premier League stars in the shape of Harry Kane, Michael Keane (Burnley), Romelu Lukaku (Everton), Jordan Pickford (Sunderland) and Leroy Sane (City) to win the prestigious award.

Alli netted his 20th goal of the season in Spur's entertaining 4-2 loss to Chelsea in the semifinal of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.

The 21-year-old is the fifth Tottenham player to win the award and the the fourth player to win it in back-to-back seasons.

Dele Alli and Nigerian-born Lioness Eniola Aluko were named in the PFA Divisional Teams of the Year announced ahead of the 44th PFA Awards held in the Grosvenor House in London on Sunday, April 23.
