Nigerian Winger To Face Fitness Test Ahead Of Chelsea Vs West Brom Clash
Published: May 11, 2017
English-born winger of Nigerian descent Hal Robson-Kanu will undergo a fitness test ahead of West Brom's clash with champions-in-waiting Chelsea on Friday night.
The Wales international has not been involved in the Baggies last two games in the Premier League due to a hamstring problem, and manager Pulis revealed at today's press conference that he will make the bench if he is passed fit.
"Hal will have a fitness test today and even if he is fit, he'll just be fit for the bench,'' Pulis told the national press.
"We're hoping Jonny will be fit, we'll wheel him out whatever happens and take it from there."
Robson-Kanu, a former Arsenal youth-teamer, has featured 30 times for West Brom in all competitions this season, scoring two goals after joining the club as a free agent last summer.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said all his players are available for selection, including Super Eagles star Victor Moses.
