Nigerian Wonderkid Will Not Make Manchester United Debut Against Tottenham
Published: May 14, 2017
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has named his starting eleven for his side's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
The big news is that young Nigerian defender Matthew Olosunde will not make his competitive debut for the Red Devils.
There was a hint that Olosunde could make his debut for Manchester United after he was spotted boarding a train at Stockport Station on Saturday afternoon, along with other first-team players.
The 19-year-old also traveled with the first team to London last week, but didn't make the bench against Arsenal.
Born in Trenton, Olosunde is a former United States U17 and played against Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali when the Americans faced off with Nigeria at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup.
