Arsenal Winger Iwobi Reveals The Key Area Of His Game He Has To Improve
Published: May 17, 2017
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has acknowledged that he has to add goals to his game and hopes to force his way back into the team.
The Nigeria international had been snubbed for the last eight matches in the Premier League before manager Wenger gave him a run out in Tuesday night's 2-0 win versus Sunderland, but he could not add to his goal tally in the 21 minutes he spent on the pitch.
“I need to work hard, create more goals and score more goals,” Iwobi told arsenal.com.
“I’ve been trying to do that in training and hopefully get back in the team. So I’ve just been patient.
“The main thing is we’re getting the three points, we’re winning games, so as long as the team is winning, that’s my main concern.”
The Hale End Academy product has scored 6 goals in 58 appearances for the first team since he made his debut against Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015.
