Published: May 26, 2017
Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has celebrated England's qualification for the knockout rounds of the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup following their 1-0 win over South Korea on Friday night.
Tomori made amends for his unfortunate own goal against Guinea in the Young Lions second match of the tournament by helping goalkeeper Freddie Woodman to post a shutout against the Asians.
The number five was one of the six players of Nigerian descent on parade at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, the others being Sheyi Ojo, Ovie Ejaria, Ademola Lookman, Dominic Solanke and Josh Onomah.
''Into the last 16 of the #U20WC. Good 1-0 over South Korea tonight🤙🏾🇬🇧,'' Tomori tweeted.
Paul Simpson's side will face one of four best-ranked third-place teams in the last sixteen on Wednesday, May 31.
