Exclusive: German, Belgian Clubs Approach Arsenal Over Loan Move For Kelechi Nwakali
Published: May 31, 2017
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, topflight clubs based in Germany and Belgium have contacted FA Cup winners Arsenal over a loan move for Nigeria U20 skipper Kelechi Nwakali.
He suited up for the last time in a MVV Maastricht shirt on Sunday when they lost 1-0 to Roda in the Dutch Playoffs Third round, Game 2.
Representatives of Nwakali will hold talks with the Arsenal hierarchy in June that will clarify his future with the club.
The Super Eagles coaches have frustrated the attacking midfielder in his bid to be granted a work permit that would enable him play in the English Premier League, as he has yet to make his debut for the senior national team.
Kelechi Nwakali is tied into a deal with the Gunners until the summer of 2021.
