Tottenham Hotspur midfielder of Nigerian heritage Dele Alli is the second most valuable player in the world, according to the statisticians at CIES Football Observatory.
Barcelona star Neymar is the most expensive player on the list with teams expected to pay 210.7 million euros to secure his signature, ahead of the England international, who has a market value of €155.1m (approximately N62.04 billion).
Paul Pogba will cost interested clubs 134.3 million euros, 29.3 million euros more than the record transfer fee Manchester United paid to secure his signature from Juventus in summer of 2016.
Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is the other player of Nigerian descent in the top hundred, the wing back is worth €45.8 million and ranked 87th on the list.
Nigeria's top five most expensive players (per transfermarkt) in Europe Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho are not among the top 110 most valuable players.
